Apps represent the websites or products where you collect feedback.
What is an App?
An app in FeedValue corresponds to a website, web application, or product. Each app can have multiple widgets, allowing you to collect different types of feedback from different pages.
Creating an App
- Navigate to your organization dashboard
- Click Create App
- Enter your app details:
- Name: A descriptive name (e.g., "Marketing Website", "Mobile App")
- Primary URL: Your website's main URL (used for CORS validation)
- Additional URLs: Other domains where the widget will be used
App Settings
General Settings
- Name: Display name for the app
- Primary URL: Main domain for the app
- Additional URLs: Additional domains where widgets are allowed
Security
- Allowed Origins: Domains that can load your widgets
- API Keys: For programmatic access to feedback data
Webhooks
Configure webhooks to receive real-time notifications when feedback is submitted.
Managing Multiple Apps
Organizations can have unlimited apps. Use apps to separate:
- Different products or services
- Different environments (staging, production)
- Different teams or departments
